OUR PASTOR & WIFE

Rev. David and Elizabeth Jones are privileged to serve at South Fork Church in the Ox Creek community of Weaverville, NC. Having previously pastored 2 other churches in their 20 years of ministry together, they humbly seek God in the direction He has for the church and community.

Rev. David Jones was born in Burnsville, North Carolina where he surrendered to the call to preach at 19. He has served in several churches across Western North Carolina. He began as a Youth Minister and Associate Pastor before taking his first church in Waynesville, North Carolina. He has been in the ministry for 30+ years.

Elizabeth Jones was born in Stuart, Florida but moved to Haywood County when she was 8 with her family. Elizabeth loves music and works with the youth, teaching the Youth Bible studies on Wednesday nights.

David and Elizabeth are excited to see what God will do in the Ox Creek community with the church, the community and surrounding areas.

OUR CHURCH

South Fork Church is a body of believers who congregate each Sunday morning, Sunday evening and Wednesday nights to worship the Lord and study His Word.

The church began in 1903 as South Fork Methodist Church and through trying times and changes that have tested the very core of the church, it has become a community church known as South Fork Church. Come join us!
